township of Quincy. The program gives temporary assistance
until the person can find a more permanent program. While
on the program, they receive help paying for food, rent,
utility, medication, and household and personal incidentals. |

This is a council comprised of representatives
from Adams, Brown, Pike and Schuyler Counties, and the City
of Quincy, with representatives of local government and citizens.
It is involved in research and planning for the physical,
social and economic development of the Two Rivers Region.
The council is supported by grants and services from local
governments and receives matching funds under several federal
programs. Two Rivers offers programs in the areas of: housing,
shelter, utilities assistance, job training and scholarships,
including the Workforce Investment Act (WIA). |
