United Way of Adams County, Inc. continues to guide the development of The Alliance for Building Community, a new framework that defines and monitors our quality of life. ABC is a community partnership of individuals and groups working together on solutions to some of our area’s most critical  issues. An advisory group now guides its progress and several new partners have joined ABC by pledging their efforts to address quality of life issues in our community. The Adams County Health Department and University of Illinois Extension are key partners with United Way who provide professional leadership and  in-kind support to the project.   ABC is funded in-part by a multi-year grant from The Marion  Gardner Jackson Charitable Trust.
