United Way of Adams County, Inc.

Advancing the Greater Good

Live United couple Everyone deserves the opportunity to have a good life - to receive a quality education that leads to a stable job, to earn enough income to support a family through retirement and to enjoy good health.

That’s why United Way’s work is focused on the building blocks for a good life:

Education – Helping Children and Youth Achieve Their Potential
Financial Stability – Promoting Financial Stability and Independence
Health – Improving People’s Health

Advancing the greater good is less about helping one person at a time and more about changing systems to help all of us. We are all connected and interdependent. We all win when a child succeeds in school, when families are financially stable, when people are healthy.

The United Way’s Community Building Council seeks to create long-lasting change in the areas of Education, Financial Stability and Health. Leaders from throughout Adams County lend their voices and their expertise to guide the development or expansion of community-wide initiatives that create a brighter future for children and adults in Adams County. Browse our website to see the many ways you, too, can lend your hands and your voice - how you can LIVE UNITED.
