DAV: Volunteer For Veterans
DAV has rolled out a program called Volunteer For Veterans. You can register as a Volunteer, but more importantly if a veteran has a need - help running errands, minor home repairs, assistance with mowing or other chores, etc. - THEY can register and will be matched with a volunteer.
DAV has had a lot of volunteers sign up, but they are not reaching the Veterans. Please do what you can to promote this in your area, at meetings, if you know Veterans in need help them get signed up, spread on social media, etc.
