As Communications and Program Director, Makayla Buckley combines strategic thinking with creative flair to help bring meaningful initiatives to life. She’s a proud graduate of both Liberty High School and Maryville University. During her time at Maryville, she gained invaluable, hands-on experience through internships with Blessing Health System, Mardi Gras, Inc., and the Susan G. Komen Foundation. In 2025, she was honored as a Herald-Whig 20 Under 40 recipient, a recognition that reflects her leadership, passion, and commitment to her community.
With a strong background in marketing and advertising, Makayla thrives on building connections, crafting compelling messages, and driving impactful programs forward. When she’s not working, you’ll likely find her dancing at a country concert, cheering on her favorite sports team, spending time with the ones she loves most, or planning her next adventure with her friends. She’s a proud dog aunt and absolutely head over heels for her favorite little human, her nephew, Stetson.
