Good News of Christmas
The History
Now in its 37th year, the Good News of Christmas campaign continues to make a lasting impact in our community. Originally launched in 1988 by the Herald-Whig, the initiative is now proudly managed and sponsored by United Way of Adams County, marking our fifth year leading this meaningful program.

Unmet Needs
Quincy Area Partnership for Unmet Needs
The Quincy Area Partnership for Unmet Needs was established to assist individuals and families who had exhausted all other avenues of assistance. Recognizing that financial stability is one of three building blocks of a good quality of life, Unmet Needs pools private donations and church pledges to provide that stability during a crisis or other difficult situation.

Veteran Services
Resources for Veterans
United Way of Adams County is dedicated to helping veterans connect with resources available in our community to help them and their families. We have partnered with Tri-State Warrior Outreach to provide case management and administrative support for the program and have assembled a committee of key community members to meet regularly and ensure we continue to work towards better support and additional programs to serve those who served our country.
